Los Angeles: A Journey Through the City of Angels

Los Angeles: A Journey Through the City of Angels

Hello everyone! My shop logo from Space store - scritta e alieno

sells all over the United States — a massive country that even people who have lived here for years don't fully know.

I don't know about you, but I'd love to visit every single corner of this place.

And since I can't do that physically yet, I thought I could travel with my imagination.

Today, my journey begins in a city that has always fascinated me:

L.A. is more than just a city—it's a whole universe. With nearly 4 million residents, it's an enormous, multi-ethnic metropolis that's home to people from over 140 countries.

It's actually the second city in the U.S. with the highest number of foreign-born residents, right after Miami.

This incredible mix of cultures impacts everything, from food to music.

The people here are mainly in industries like entertainment (film, television, music), aerospace and defense, but also tourism and tech are a huge deal.

Los Angeles stretches over 469 square miles, a vast area that holds iconic neighborhoods, each with its own unique soul.

As you know, I'm a huge fan of Ozzy Osbourne

and Metallica. And L.A. has been their playground for decades.

It's where Metallica played countless times and where Ozzy lived for many years, helping to build the legend of Hollywood's hard rock scene.

I can just picture hopping on a Harley-Davidson (my partner has One) and riding down historic streets like the Sunset Strip, where rock was born, or the Pacific Coast Highway, with the ocean by my side.

But a trip to Los Angeles wouldn't be complete without trying the food. Forget the myth of one typical dish — L.A. is a fusion of flavors. From the famous French Dip Sandwich to the amazing tacos and burritos, thanks to the strong influence of Mexican cuisine. If you're a foodie, Los Angeles will blow your mind.

So, what are the absolute must-sees?

The Hollywood Walk of Fame and the famous Hollywood Sign.

The Griffith Observatory, for breathtaking city views.

The beaches of Santa Monica with its iconic pier and lively Venice Beach.

And of course, world-class museums and historic movie sites.

Some important museums:

Los Angeles is a city of contrasts, a crossroads of dreams and reality. It's famous for its film industry, its climate, its lifestyle, but most of all, for its endless diversity.

I chose to kick off my U.S. travels in Los Angeles because it's a city full of originality and people who stand out—just like the designs in my shop.

Maybe one day I'll really get to visit it... Have you ever been? What's the one place you'd tell me not to miss?

Take care

Simo
